Hi Don Melcher, Welcome to Trainboard! That was our club you seen in Sacramento, with guys from Oregon, SoCal running Z Scale trains. We will be running trains in San Jose at the Great Train Expo the end of this month, so if you can make it, please join us in the fun. I have one of the mechanism's that David F. modified from a GP9 to fit the F7 shell. You can examine it to see how he did it.

Aw, that's too bad about the Pleasanton show, as that's the best show in the bay area all year. That's the one where the wives go shopping and leave us guys alone for the weekend!
Yea - well - we have a second home up near Yosemite and we try to get up there every other weekend - and almost always the weekend after Thanksgiving. I don't have to worry about the shopping thing - my wife is Jewish so we really don't do Christmas in a big way. Look out into the future - the show in Sacramento may be possible. But between the other house and my car racing activities, there isn't many free weekends. I am waiting for my approval on the BAZ yahoo group to find out about their activities. I am not too far away.
