....from the island of puerto rico.i model 1950's sugar cane (centrales)mills .

 

....Fresno, Ca. Right in the center of California and living 1/2 mile between the BNSF and UP main lines in the Valley. I model mainly BNSF modern era, a little UP, British Rail, and Japanese Shinkansen...basically whatever strikes my fancy!

I live in the St. Johns neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. I have regular informal railfanning of UP, BNSF, Amtrak, and PNWR/WPRR. I am modeling PNWR/WPRR mostly, but I have an interest in POTB, COP, CORP, and other shortlines.

From? As is originally? I was born in Newfoundland, back when they still had trains there. In fact, the Nfld Rwy was the longest narrow gauge system in North America.

But I was raised in Connecticut. Worked all over the US, Canada and Mexico, a a few other parts of the world.

Now that I'm retired, I live in Tuxpan, Veracruz, Mexico, on the Gulf Coast. Trying to freelance a small layout representing a branch of the Ndem in this part of the country.

I live in eastern central Illinois, Martinsville, just off the old PRR, Vandalia line. Grew up 4 miles north listening to the whistles crossing Mill creek, now I’m just a short ¼ mile from the tracks watching, CSX go by from my train room window.

I am from Oregon, now living in Ewing, NE and when I have the layout set up I model a freelance RR of UP, SP & AT&SF.

 

Hi, I live in Visby on the island of Gotland, about 200 km south of Stockholm.
We (me and my fiancé) live in a way too small apartment to build a layout. I'm planning a small shunting puzzle though, I've got all the components for it, so it's just a matter of time now. I do have a small collection of GN equipment, which means I'm just a collector for the moment.

Modeling interests revolve around CSX from Columbus to Toledo.

I am FloridaBoy, named after a joke I used to say at parties kidding my first and second wife. Can't repeat it here, or I will be terminally excluded from all boards.
I live in South Florida, just less than a 1/4 mile from my railroad club, the South Florida Railway Museum, 15 minutes away from calzephyr's club, and just an earsight away from the CSX/Amtrak/TriRail tracks. I manage to make sure I see at least one train every day.
I used to be "Steamguy" (not Powersteamguy) on the Atlas board a couple of years ago, and that alter ego just lives now on the Invision Board.

Spent my youth in New York and New Hampshire. However, when the US Air Force shipped me to the Mississippi Gulf Coast I realized I could live quite happily without snow and ice! We're about to move into a new house (thanks to Hurricane Katrina) where the Saucier Central, a wholly-owned N-Scale subsidiary of the Boston & Maine, will be resurrected.......:w20z6q:

I am in Odenville, AL which is about 20 miles northeast of Birmingham, AL. I have been an N scaler since 1969. I have a 32' x 32' layout under construction. I host montly operating sessions for up to 10 friends.

Hi all! Its great to have new membersto welcome aboard! I hail from Miles City MT. Located on I 94 in So. Eastern mont. I run Milw. trains but model no specific area.

 

Far west suburb of Chicago, close to the BNSF and within horn hearing distance of the EJ&E. Ride METRA on the BNSF daily. Modeling ATSF / BNSF, but thinking about doing a shelf switcher with the Atlanta & St. Andrews Bay (Bay Line).

"I'm from Dixie, I said from Dixie" - but I model Western roads. N Scale since 1969. No specific period, anything from 1920 to 1960. Passenger trains are my favorite but I have freight yards and industry sidings if the urge occasionally strikes to handle some freight.
