True Line Trains New Box Cars as Follows - B.C.R. Dark Green. C.P. Rail Green Boise Cascade White/Dark Green (MD & W) Big Prize as I Saw It. N Scale News Print Cars for C.N., C.V., and D.W. & P. Rapido Psgr Cars. C.N. Black/White. VIA Blue/Yellow Strips. Others Not Sure as Yet. Intermountian New FP7s/FP9s This Will B Interesting. Was Very Pleased to See "Rapido, True Line Trains, and Intermountain" Make the Efforts to Come to Calgary, When Most of the Companies Don't Make the Efforts to Come to Cdn Shows. This Tells Me a Lot. Rapido Cars Rapido Trains had completed samples of their new N Panorama passenger cars at the show. They were by far the best detailed RTR passenger cars I have seen in N. Now we just need to convince them to run the Canadian in N ... There was also a suggestion of N CPR vans (cabooses) from Rapido and TrueLine.
Good news on the Intermountain SD40s. Hopefully that's the start of a whole line of SD40s. Looking forward to seeing the Panorama passenger cars, too.
Lots of N scale this year. Found rare runners packs at one booth from BC, the new exacto rail 89' cars at a booth from Manitoba. They were verta pak cars or something like that. Nice detail and printing but way to light, at least you can always add weight. Picked up 2 BN and was really tempted by the Grande but had to pass ( sorry Hemi!). Also Max Jaucaird (sp) was there and I bought another Great Northern print.
SD40-2W? That'll be the first N scale RTR with the 4-window safety cab. Figures. The one year I have to call in sick, and something actually interesting happens.
