That's a rough looking crew, Roger. They look almost as sinister as the guys in the photo of Butch Cassidy, Sundance Kid, and their gang. I'm glad I didn't have to work in that office, because they don't appear to have any joy at all, and forget Casual Fridays.....:tb-hissyfit:

I love these old photos...they really display the hard working determined character of the folks who helped build this country. It should also be remembered that photographs were considered a serious business in those days so one might be seen as flippant, or heaven forbid, unmindful if one were to actually smile. Thanks for posting this, very cool!
Ah, and how covered up they all are compared to today's almost naked look. Great photo, Roger. And as you said, the shoes, back when they were meant to last. :tb-biggrin: Re your comment about how quiet it has been, for sure. I predict it will pick up next week as I will be gone and probably will only have one day of internet access.
