Ok here is my offline fleet. This accounts for about 60% of my total trailers/containers. GHQ kits, Con-Cor trailers, tractor (kits and RTR) are not shown... Athearn trailers MTL, Atlas, and Deluxe trailers. About 20 are custom painted and decaled. Deluxe and MTL containers Walthers containers, and custom built/painted and kitbashed trailers and containers in the gun case. The box of containers holds about 70 loose containers used on my stack train.
My N Scale Truck Fleet Took the Pics awhile back and then couldn't find the Thread, so better late than never rite:tb-biggrin:
This is one of four future Dr. Pepper beverage trucks. It's a bit long as I used an MT 40' trailer chassis, but you get the idea.
Here are some custom decal and paint jobs....these are for produce in the Puddington Valley....big rail shipper...
A few other custom's...... That's goin cost a few bucks ! Quad axle must be haulling linerboard ! Yard "pup".....
A few new ones to share......home made decals used for them.... The "real"...... A "politically incorrect" (for 2009, not 1973) trailer..... I found a picture of this on Hank's Truck Picture site and knew I had to have one to annoy some people at shows...LOL Anyone for some bacon ? A well known, major Canadian meat packing comany based in Kitchener, Ontario. And some Foobies....... A "local" transport company.............. and another industry...haven't a clue what they do; where they are or what they haul... doesn't matter - they are just "here"..... Foobies "expand" the layout without building anything of real substance......
I just came across this thread and thought i'd share a few pictures. I don't have a huge collection of vehicles, but I have some unique examples. Here are a few of them. Jim
Puddington: Very nice trucks and a nice series of photos, too. I want to do exactly what you are doing with creating decals for my trucks. I hope to use photos instead of creating the art work myself.
Thanks - I, too, would rather use a photo and then manipulate it but the issue tends to be no one shoots a 50' trailer from the 90 degree side - it's almost always shot on an angle and thus manipulating the shot is hard - you need to strip out elements and then manipulate them in PS or Illustrator..... that's why I just usually steal some elements and then re-create. "Close enough" is..........LOL
Other trucks from Italy Here some other trucks I've made - and maybe you all could help: what truck is the cab over engine? I inherited it from a friend - he told me it is an Australian truck - for what I know there isn't any Australian truck maker: they rely on american and (few) european makes. Thanks Paolo
Another custom trailer - this time a "pup".... Here she is with a Reimer pup (sweet little special edition she is too....) The CP Rail flat has had "circus ramps" and rub rails added..... adds a little something....
