    Dear all

I would like to buy some engines Dash-9 and SD-70/80/90 made by Kato in the paint scheme "Santa Fe Warbonnet".

Does anybody know where I could get these (I already tried on Ebay, but very difficult).

Futhermore, I have added 3 other pictures of my layout. Hope you will enjoy it.

Thanks alot and best regards from Europe.

Kato has only produced the C44-9W in ATSF warbonnet colors. They are hard to find but do show up on eBay occasionally. As far as the other locomotives you mentioned, ATSF never owned any (the closest one was the SD75M/I) and Kato has not done any of them in ATSF colors. Those would have to be custom paints. Great layout, BTW!

The SD70i or SD75i were done by Athearn in this scheme .

Kato is just did new runs of BNSF SD70MACs and is currently doing a new run of the SD70M for NS and UP due out this summer. Maybe a new release of the warbonnet colors will be done at some point in the future. Jamie

I have all six of the Kato C44-9 Warbonnet units for sale. They all are new and have decoders installed.

    Email if interested.

I spotted 3 Kato Dash 9's in warbonnet at Trains, Etc in Tehachapi, CA yesterday, March 20. Contact them at 661/822-7777 or trainsetc@sbcglobal.net.

They were nice people and were a real help with railfanning information for the Loop.

The Santa Fe Warbonnet N scale Kato C44-9W's come up on eBay decently often. if you haven't already bought all 6 of Rich Businger's, keep watch on eBay in the Kato N scale category... over time, I've seen all of the diifferent Kato runs come up for sale.... I'd expect to pay about $65-$75 each for them in most cases. That's how I got the four that I have. Hope this helps.

md11, I have a couple (one is shown) available - the price is likely higher than you're willing to pay, but they have been detailed and are DCC. See the sale page at the site by my signature.

    Good afternoon

thank you all for these answers. Well, the problem I have is that the shipping costs will be added to the price of the locos.

Luckily, I have found 4 different items here in Switzerland :tb-smile::tb-smile::tb-smile:

But anyway, it is always interesting to find new shops and contacts.

@levi: I live in Switzerland near Zurich. Thanks for the compliments about my layout. I have ordered some other industrial buildings in the states (woo woo woo woo woo woo is a very cheap and great shop).

I plan to open a website in the near future. Will inform you all when ready:tb-wink:.

Have a great time with your hobbies and kind regards from Switzerland

I know what you mean. And customs /taxes come on top of it. But I guess your Swiss discoveries came at a price too.

Greetings and best wishes from another Swiss fellow.
