Meeting place? Flash and any other Texas N scalers attending the WGH show, where can we meet each other? I would like to meet some of you Trainboard brothers. I am coming from Corpus on Saturday. I went to the Houston show and really enjoyed myself even though I spend some hours helping a good friend man his booth because of the crowds and selling so much stuff he and his two helpers were overwhelmed. This time I plan on seeing everything and meeting people.
You will usually find me somewhere around the NTRAK layout running trains. My modules will have a sign saying Fort Bend Model Railroad Club and Rosenberg, Tower 17.
Very funny! I was just there with my job exhibiting last week at the Texas Music Educators Convention. Cool town. Now I see I should have just not come home Monday.:tb-tongue:
Show pictures from this morning. I did see Russell running the Texas Special. Kato booth: Athearn booth. The bay window caboose was excellent! Wonderful brass details. H0 SD45 below. All N scale had the new coupler. Largest scale that I saw. This was a display at the On3 layout. G scale Big Boy. More later.
Athearn booth. UP turbines in H0 scale. Part of the On3 layout. All the kids got to run a train. Children were everywhere! Bowser booth. These are the new Bowser pre-weathered freight cars. I thought they looked pretty good. It appears to be all airbrush technique. The new Stewart F units were on display, too. No picture of those.
