There must be a little gremlin village somewhere built entirely of Bachmann GPWhatever cab roofs. I don't think I've ever seen one ever anywhere that still had it's roof.

 

When I saw that model I thought it looked about right too. MILW ran their stuff hard in the last years and put it away wet, if it got put away at all. Add to that, there's quite a bit of old MILW stuff still around pretty much untouched other than a patch out and required maintenance. I'd say the weathering is pretty decent considering what it is.

 

Got bored and emailed the guy, here's his reply,

Here's another seller who doesn't know what he has.
He claims these new and never out of the box.
But upon close inspection and an email to confirm this, they have Metal wheels.
Funny, these came from the factory with plastic wheels, McHenry's if I'm correct. Or did they re-run them.

The cars look to be HO...they have body mounted couplers. The seller relisted the cars under HO now.

I just got outbid, and when I went to up my bid it said that the seller had blocked me from making any further bids. And when I tried to send them an email asking why, it said that I was blocked from doing that too.

I have 100% positive feedback (in the thousands) and have never purchased anything from this guy in the past. So, what the what??

Could be. I've certainly run into more than my fair share of dooshbags on these h'yar N scale forums over the years. But whatever, no sleep lost here. Just trying to buy a model in order to review it as a public service. Anybody who wants to interfere with that probably is a dooshbag.
