Club to thats New to fourm

    [FONT=&quot]Greetings everyone here at Trainboard.com,

    I am the webmaster of the Carquinez Model Railroad Society located in Crockett California, not to far from San Francisco. Right now as the club's webmaster, I also seemed to pick up the duty of advertiser and generally getting our name out there to railroaders such as you. Little background about our club we were formally the Vallejo Model Railroad Club which ran at the Solono County Fairgrounds (in Vallejo,Ca) for over 30years till we were kicked out. We are now located in Crocket with our name change with a bigger layout. The main room which host our layout is 30 by 90 with no obstuctions in the way. The layout is 3 tier layout two 9ft tall helix's on each end, and tra, the third is going to begin constuction on. Our layout is follows the old SP route from Oakland-Sparks, having this we can have most to all senic views and a wonderful layout.
    As for me (Sorry for not introducting myself) I'm Jon, I am a full time college student, full time It manager, and full time railfan of the local California Northern. Im big in electronics and wiring so, led, wired wiring of stuff that shouldnt be wired up is right up my alley. What i hope to contribute to this fourm is how to guides (we have people who are theexperts at making 9ft tall 7ft wide helix's and more!) , more information about our club, and just contributing to the fourm.

    Although I am not in HO scale, I look forward to reading your contributions. There will certainly be much which is adaptable to N and On30!

    Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I have video's and photos avalible, I uploaded some from my work laptop, and i have the video's on youtube! After I get out of my finals which will be next week, I will have plenty of time to more video's such as our Winter Train show, a video on a Custom painted California Northern SD9 (local around Woodstock down to tracy) and the contining benchwork of the club.
