    Adam, great choices. I LOVE Wheeler's shot. He says it's B&O but that profile sure looks like a New York Central engine.........:tb-biggrin:

    Actually, thats a SD-35 leading the train. Southern ran about everything long-hood forward back then.
    The photo is in New Albany, In. That's VI Tower to the left.

    When was that shot of XK28 taken? That class was retired many years ago. Wait - haven't I seen that exact picture before?
