Here we have another week of model photos highlighting the TrainBoard members and their photos on RailImages. These are just my opinion of the photos that are representative of our members for this week. As usual, I encourage you to click on the photograph that you like and see more of that member's pictures. I am unable to consider the "My TrainBoard> Pictures and Albums" photos for inclusion in the Photo of the Week selections at this time.

I finished up the water tank and the wheel assemblies last night. I've got some "site preparation" work to do before I can install the model on the layout, and then I'll finish up the sluice assembly once I can measure it to fit.

I have just for the first time noticed that you have posted that my scale is N. Unfortunately, that is not the case...it is HO. Sorry for the oversight!!

Never the less, thank you for your selection...I hope the correction of scale doesn't diminish your decision.

Yeah, the old N scale Trix K-4 never looked that good. ;)

    Love the Kwik-E-Mart sign!!

Is pic two something you would expect to see in the prototype, where they have re-laid the track with concrete ties but left the switches with wooden, or would they normally do the whole lot?

    Thank you.

I know it's not unusual to have wooden ties under turnouts but concrete ties for the line.
When I build my European station Naumburg I visited the prototype. They had steel ties under the turnouts and wooden ties elsewhere!
    I didn't follow this.
