As you can tell I have inherited a ton of Kato Unitrak that is useless to me as I am using code55 on my layout. It is covering my layout so I have to get rid of it but not sure how.I hate Feebay but not sure where else to go.I figured it up and it all retails for about $2000.00 but I would take $1400.00 with free shipping.I guess it would be easier to break it up and sell it in pieces but that is alot of work and time that I dont have.I have never used Trainstore so not sure how it works.Any suggestions? Thanks guys
Trainstore is actually easy to use. Click on Trainstore and up will come a heading. You can look for the appropriate windows to click on and before you know it your add is in place. Not sure I would want to break it up. I always end up with pieces I can't sell/move. You have a good price. Can you give us details on how many #4/#6 Lt. & Rt hand switches are included? Thanks in advance!
Can't see what all is there, but if you have any of the expander tracks, I'm in dire need of about 6 more!! Working on an N Track module set, and I'm planning on using the expansion tracks between modules. Unfortunately, I've been unable to locate any more for my project!
What you can't sell, you can still use. Even though you're using C55, Unitrack makes excellent fodder for a staging yard. You can make an adapter easily with Peco C55 and a file.
What to do with Unitrack if you are using Code 55? How about sell it on eBay? Then use the money to buy another engine!!!!! I've done that more than once. Two benefits....you get rid of stuff you don't need/want (and somebody else gets something that they DO need), plus you can brag to your wife that you are getting rid of some of the stuff that you don't use! It's a Win-Win situation! Hey...maybe I should sell some stuff too! I could use some "Brownie Points"....and new engines too!!!!!!
Thanks for the Trainstore help.It is paying off.I thought about Ebay but I hate the fees. Thanks to everyone who sent me a PM, I have responded to them all. Thanks again guys...
