He'll have ample time to think about all the grief he's caused. Too bad he got all screwed up but my heart goes out to all those victims' families and friends.
WOW <(O.O)> Unfortunately, there are lots of people like this guy roaming the streets, and the cops can only arrest them when they do something REALLY crazy.
I may be wrong, but parking a gas-soaked motor vehicle with the intent of killing yourself, then changing one's mind & bailing out, unable to move said vehicle, which is hit by a commuter train full of people which caroms into a freight, is pretty darn looney-tunes in my book. The crazy part was letting this guy live the rest of his life in prison. But as mentioned elsewhere in this thread, at least he'll be off the streets.
