Thanks for all the comments on the layout guys! The scenery is one of major reason as to why I switched to N scale. I love to sit in the layout room and have the mountains of PA tower over me and my trains.

Ian, that scenery is superb, good to see some lush eastern foliage, where the scenery dominates the trains. Wonderful [IMG]

How about four Alco Centuries on a 40 car freight. 3 C-424's and a C636.

    Ian,

Excellent layout you will have to open a topic and show us more photos of it.

Here is a lashup never run on my layout before, these are hot of the paint shop. Both MKT GP40's

I have to quickly get this posted before Pete Nolan does the same thing with his engines!! ;)

Here is my eight unit lashup of Bachmann F7/9s. These engines are being remotored with the LifeLike GP20 mechanism. This lashup runs very smoothly together.

There is more on the conversion here. It is still an ongoing thread.

Now, you ask, how can I get all those wonderful, smooth running engines to perform so flawlessly together? [IMG] Easy...only two of them are powered! [IMG] So, I have three more GP20s to use; looks like I need three more. May keep a few unpowered.

Here is a GN lashup operating on my layout today, it's owned by Patrick Buchanan who came over for a visit.
