It is good news that the GG1 has found a new home,rather than being chopped up for scrap. Even though I live in England, I,ve been lucky enough to see 3 of the remaining fleet on my trips over to Pennsylvania,and they are an impressive sight to see. Ronzzr11
I agree. It's good news anytime a locomotive gets aquired by a museum that has both sufficient funds and sufficient interest to adequately restore the machine. Regards Ed .
