Here are the first pictures of the new year. I am sure we will have another great Railfan year on TrainBoard. Here are some of the pictures from last year being posted in this new year. Please click on the posted picture to see that member's RailImages album.

The street running photo rocks! Imagine looking in your rearview and seeing that.

Thanks for picking one of mine.

My jaw dropped after seeing the Burlington Route loco. Bet it takes a lot of "Turtle Wax" to keep her shining. ;)

Nice shots, and thanks for picking my streetrunning picture! I used to love watching that -- I crossed that street every day on the to and from work, and took my camera with me every day, as the daily local was going north around the time I went home from work. Too bad the UP tore up the tracks in 2000....

    Dave,

That is an outstanding scene and great photo.

That is the kind of single photo that can spawn a model railroad all by itself. Or at very least a cross-country railfanning trip, even if the subject no longer exists!

I agree, a nice linup...from the first shot with the tank car to the caboose and the others...very nice. Thanks to all for sharing and to Flash for his "pics picks".

From the looks of things, a lot of those cars will HAVE to use their rearview since they are about to be missing a few side mirrors!
