The Lockheed Martin Railroad Association's 25th Anniversary Train Show will be held October 13-14th 2007. This show always kicks off the DFW area show schedule and is always a solid show.

    Annual October Train Show
The Railroad Activity sponsors an annual train show for LMRA members, as well as the general public, the second weekend each October. Over 110 dealer tables selling a multitude of railroad and model railroad items of all scales, T-shirts, photos, videos, caps, memorabilia, posters, etc. are available for sale from the various dealers. Several model railroad modular layouts as well as the Club's large layout is on display. There is a total sell-out of dealers tables each year since the initial year.

If you can make it, and want to meet a fellow Trainboard'er, look for the Friends of the Burlington Northern Railroad historical society display. I will be there talking BN and peddling some n-scale wares. (caveat, I'm still on the waiting list, but I'm told there's a real good chance they will find space for me even though the tables are sold out. If you don't see any BN display, you'll know I didn't make the cut)

Nice venue, great layout. Haven't been to an LMRA show since I got back to Texas.

Sounds like a good show. I would really love to attend a show in a different part of the country. It has to be inspiring. Have fun out there in DFW!!

I'll be in Maryland this Saturday at the Great Scale Model Train Show in (Baltimore) Timonium, MD.

Must be a good weekend for shows. Got an e-mail for the Great Midwest Trains Show in the Chicago area, too.

The weather here in DFW is BEAUTIFUL today so it should hopefully be a good turnout (no pun intended!) with people out and about. There's also a gun show nearby which usually helps I think.

Only downside is I'm gonna miss most if not all of the A&M-Tech game but I'm trying to find a workaround to that.

If you can get hold of an AM-FM radio, tune in to KHYI-FM, 95.3, The Range- they broadcast Red Raider football on Saturdays, so you can at least listen to it.

Neither an A&M or Tech grad, just a Range listener.

How can you root against someone named "J-Train"?

Hey now! My faith waivered a bit this morning, but I'm back now, standing by my Aggies, sticking to my guns--err-wait, nevermind. :confused2:

I still have my iPhone so I can watch the Gametracker to get updates. Stupid cstv radio feed plug-in doesn't work with iPhone Safari yet. I do have the old standby of a good ole' am/fm radio though. AM-1190 also will have the game and I won't have to listen to the Raider homers. :we2-goofy:

    ;)

I listened to the Tech/Okie State game on 95.3, and to this Poke alumnus, it was kinda funny listening to the Raider homers express dismay when they fell just a bit short against the Cowboys. Any QB that passes for more than 600 yards and STILL loses.......

ANywho, enjoy the show (and the game).
