Anyone know if CSX has coalporters that are silver like the one produces by LBF and Kato??? If so, any pic's??
Walthers makes a kit for CSX Coalporters. The number is 932-40404 if you are into model trains. A set of big EMD's or GE's would look great on a model coal train. Might contact CSX and find out the kind of coal cars they have.

Looks like that helps answer the question - even though the coalporters look gray, probably due to road grime. Also, looks like by the style of "CSX" lettering, they must go back a few years.
CSX does have a few aluminum Coalporters simlar to the Walthers and Athearn models, however, they are not the ones pictured above.
Here is the Athearn CSX coalporter http://www.athearn.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=ATH93007 Here is the real thing, same as the model http://www.trainboard.com/railimages/data/500/9-21-2007_St_Denis_Md140.JPG
Not the same car... the Athearn car is a model of a new built aluminum bodied rotary coupler equipped Coalporter that CSX has a hundred or so of...... the gray Coalporter (aka Confederate)) you linked to is one of thousands of steel cars that Raceland rebodied from hoppers using kits supplied by Johnstown America. They are a different length, height, capacity etc than the aluminum cars, and also lack rotary couplers... Here's the aluminum cars...
The same way they did before rotary couplers came along... they break the train up into cuts and dump each cut. I.e, at Portsmouth, CSX dumper shed takes three car cuts and dumps all three cars at the same time... If you want the train to stay intact and be able to run through the dumper, then you'd want rotary couplers
