Which MT trucks for Walther's Well Cars?

    I think the title says it all. Which MT trucks should I use on the Walther's well cars? We all know what tanks they are right out of the box...

    Use 1023/1025 for the middle cars; 1128, 1129 or 1130 for the ends with couplers.

    I would not use MTL trucks if you are reffering to the articulated cars. The truck pin hole on MTL trucks is off center and in my opinion look awful on articulated cars. I use Atlas roller bearing trucks with the coupler tongues cut off, and with their metal replacement wheels. For the trucks on the end, I used the MTL 100 ton roller bearing trucks, but now with Atlas trucks equiped with Acumate couplers, I intend to replace them, with these.

    Thanks guys. Since I have two sets, I'll try each method and see which I like best...
