This is the biweekly/Easter shopping weekend. My daughter has a basketball game on Sunday and softball practice on Saturday. I would like to finish painting the current round of detail parts and place them on the layout. Also I would like to plant some more trees and foliage on the ridge. Then there are the reefers I need to weather.
This weekend is all taken up for me by the train show in Rockford. I got a new zoom lens this month, so I'll be trying out some new model photos while I'm there.
I plan to work on the addition to the JJJ&E. Also will install decoders in some more steamers as well as take some photo's. Stay cool and run steam.....
This weekend the MMM module club will show a large module layout at the Tekniska Museet in Stockholm. The show will close next weekend. Big fun with lots of modules in H0 scale. This is the first time my H0e modules will be shown.
Paint up the landform I built last weekend. I spent some time during the week carving the plaster but am having trouble getting a believable color for the rocks. The good thing is you can just paint over it if you stuff it up
Nothing this weekend. Jeanne just got back for a 2 week-plus family trip. Weather permitting, I think we'll be working out in the yard. The flowers--all of them--just popped all at once this Wednesday. Unreal! I'll post a picture later.
Some railfanning. But today I ordered an Ntrak manual online and bought a piece of 2" blue foam at Temple City Toys and Trains - nobody else in Los Angeles seems to have it - so in the near future I may actually have something constructive to add to the weekend modelling plans threads.
