    While I can't be sure (as it's not my photo), since they just came out of the shop a couple of days ago, it's a good bet this one was photo'd at or near the shops.

    But coming to a grain elevator near you soon, I hope.

    That really is a great new paint scheme the KCS has unveiled!

    Looks like they waxed that loco up for the publicity shot too!

    The paint job looks a lot like CB&Q's 1950s "Blackbird" paint scheme that road applied to their diesel engines until around 1960 when chinese red replaced it. Too bad BNSF didn't think of this first.
