We did the biweekly shopping stuff and even did some birthday shopping for my FIL whose birthday is coming up at the end of the month. On Sunday my daughter’s basketball team won 10 to 9 with another comeback in last five minutes. They were down 9 to 4. I don’t know how my son’s team made out since we were at his Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts. I made 35 trees for the mountainside which is now called Drexel Ridge. I also continued inventorying my rolling stock.
I got out to do some prototype research. I went to Rochelle yesterday. It seemed busier than my previous trips there, even the parking lot was more full. About midday, I found out why when this train came through. Woot!
This weekend I started on the farm house. I got it painted and and walls put up. Next will be to work on the front pourch and widows. I am taking my time because this is the first laser cut building I have put together. Alan
I pretty much finished my Miracle Chair Co......a Bar Mills laser kit.... I took a color pic and a black and white....
Got almost all my cork glued to the foam... Other than that... watched the Flames game on Saturday... too bad they lost... ah well that's the way she goes. Cheers,
I got some of my latest N scale ship painted. Otherwise I was preparing for my new venture, which started today. I'm going to be pretty busy with that for the next few months.
Got several things accomplished this weekend. Bridge abutments painted, cork laid around perimeter for a second mainline, got the reverse unit wired back up and ran some trains. I cleaned up the room a little and even painted a little track. Today I ordered a few decoders and a second reversing unit from Litchfield Station . Tonight I was able to lay some new track and as you can see it's in the drying process now under the load of books :teeth:
