well i have been in n scale for 25+ years and have been custom painting for well over 10 of those and was solely n scale, well i started doing a few ho locos here and there and have now been doing more ho than n as of late. here are a few pics of some of my latest works.

Nice! Those look like GP18s, judging by the roof details and Alco road trucks underneath 'em.

Those do look good. I can remember the KCS and UP locomotives in their bicentennial paint in 76. Some looked pretty sharp.

Does anybody have a pic, or a link to same, of the KCS Bicentennial locomotive?

I've seen it once before, and all I can say is, it's unique

As far as Bicen diesels go, that's one thing I don't have to worry about with Frisco- they didn't have any (darn it!). They did have a snazzy caboose in fullblown 1776-like livery, plus a couple of the 1200s repainted blue with white diagonal stripes and red cupolas.

Nice. I too have played with the idea of doing ONE of the bicentennial units in mopac since it's the same era I'm modeling.

Mopac3092, love the GP18 Bicentennial units. I have a low hood GP18 on the way which I will kit bash and do the same. Where online, can I get the decals to buy?

Now lets not get totally out of hand, the block NW is a classy scheme.

Better than PC was, to be sure, but a solid black block nevertheless. But then again, paint don't move freight, and NW could perform well in that department. ;)

That's good! I left HO last year but I'm holding on to a couple Athearn locos in SP paint for sentimental value and as possible superdetailing projects. So painting/detailing HO locos is perfectly fine.

Just don't go making any layouts in HO :)
