I was returning home Monday from a day of railfanning the Marceline Sub when I came upon the following units. What are the models of these and are they rare? Caught these when I least expected.

Well the UP power looks to be either GP40's or 40-2's. Common four axel power there. The blue unit looks like a SW-7 to me. They are kind of rare. Shoot that kind of stuff anytime you can.

Is it just me, or does UP 939 have no fans? Just yesterday, I saw 4 CP GP38-2s, one of which clearly had no fans. This suggests "road slug" to me, but I didn't think CP or UP had such designs...

Didn't see any fans on the 939 myself, altho the model looks like a GP50. The 1461 definitely looks like a GP40-2

It appears that the first of the two UP images, the first unit is a GP38-2, the second is a former WP GP40-2
