Has anyone called Longs Model Railroading lately (1-800-888-3557)? I use them for decals (no shipping charges ! ) but haven't been able to through to them for the last couple of weeks. The phone just rings and rings and rings . . . and then I get a tone that sounds like a fax machine. . .
As far as I know, they haven't. But the "train store" is located in the very back of the drug store (actually what would be part of the stockroom), and is very erratically staffed. The last two times I was there, there was no one at all in the place, I had to take items up to the main check out registers, and the clerks there weren't sure how to ring up the sale. They are reducing stock, too. On a happier note, TrainQuest, just down the street in Moreno Valley, seems to be doing a booming business.
