Hi All, Here is a peek at our latest Pratt Truss bridge kit, #1083 for those of you needing a slightly shorter bridge or who would like to add to the longer bridge for a wide, wide river crossing. Go to http://www.micronart.com/1083_Truss_Pratt.html Thanks for your attention and enjoy! Reynard Wellman http://www.micronart.com
That looks sweet. I can visualize many places on my soon to be constructed layout where these would fit nicely and really go along with the general theme of my RR.
Hi Jason, A N scale one is being studied. I have a design almost ready but have decided to wait until we have better response from the N scale groups. These are a big investment for us and N scale takes up 1.38 more area than the Z scale ones. Thanks for your interest in Micron Art products. Reynard http://www.micronart.com
Thanks, you can also see our #1081, Long Pratt Truss, 224' Span at: http://www.micronart.com/1081LongPratt.html This bridge has been built by many Z scalers now and I expect many photos to show up in magazines and on websites. RegardZ, Reynard http://www.micronart.com
Aaaahhhh :lightbulb: this is why Z scale is becoming so popular lol. Seriously though I've had a feeling that N scale is being bypassed again,I mean so much is aval. in HO & now Z scale is really taking off.Not that I'm against it,just that N seems to be lagging abit..... But besides all that I'd be glad to buy 2 or 3 of these bridges off you, they look superb. EOR
Reynard, the shorter Pratt Truss Bridge looks also amazing! I specialy like the abutsment in the art deco style from John Cubbin. Actually he designed this for my new Diorama.
Hi Jason, I sense you have been bitten by the Z bug! I used to be an N Scaler just like you a few years ago, but when Z bites, you get hooked fast and hard! If you focus your N talents on Z, you will be a Rock Star overnight! Z is the place to be right now! Be part of it! :shade:
Hi Tom Mann, Sorry I took so long to reply. Been busy. Anyway, this design has so many elements combined that the parts are much fewer than you might think. An average guy like myself can build it within 16 hours. Experts take longer because of all the great weathering they do to these models. Thanks, the bridge is now available.
