Can anyone advise of a hobby shop in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia worth making a road trip for?

Hutch, the Little Choo Choo Shop in Spencer, N.C. is an excellent hobby shop. I have been to alot of train stores in my time and its hard to beat this place.

Hutch, I also agree that the Little Choo Choo is an excellent choice for a roadtrip. Not only is it a great train-only shop, but it is also right across the road from the North Carolina Transportation Museum in the old Southern Railway's Spencer Shops. Another great shop is Trainmaster Models in Duluth, GA. Trainmaster is also right across the road from the Southeastern Railroad Museum. (Seems like I am developing a pattern, doesn't it!) This Saturday, January 15, 2005, there is a model railroad show in Norcross, GA which is near Duluth, GA; both are right off I-85, north of Atlanta, GA.
