    I received my Lenz Set 100 this week, and the manual says I need to program CV 7 to set the track voltage. How do I do this? What voltage? 12 volts for N Scale?
    Thanks

    Jerry, Refer to page 15 in the LZV100 Command/Power Station Operations manual to determine the CV7 value for your needs.

    Then in the LH100 Dispatchers Throttle manual on page 45 are the step by step instructions for POM(Programming On the Main).

    If you have an LH90 throttle instead of the LH100 then refer to page 33 of the LH90 engineer's Throttle manual on how to POM.

    The manual is not quite step-by-step. They neglected to say "when the red led flashed hit Clr and then C7 enter and then the 24 (for 12 volts). Tony's Colin tried to help but the LZV100 finally took the command and the rrampmeter registered 11.9. Thank God I only have to change the voltage once!
    Now I am told to set it at 27 = 13.5 volts to avoid heat.

    Jerry:

    13.5 volts is at the high end of normal for N scale but should be appropriate for your Lenz 100 system to prevent heat buildup which will definitely cause the system to shut down after a very short while.

    Stay cool and run steam.....:cool::cool:
