Our favorite german website is reporting a second run of these ex MDC cars. Including Rock Island! I wonder if they are accurate? 11065 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Santa Fe brown/white 1. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11066 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Santa Fe brown/white 2. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11067 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Chessie/B&O black/yellow 1. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11068 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Chessie/B&O black/yellow 2. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11069 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Norfolk & Western black/white 1. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11070 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Norfolk & Western black/white 2. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11071 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Seaboard Coast Line black/yellow 1. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11072 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Seaboard Coast Line black/yellow 2. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11073 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set RI/The Rock (paint) 1. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11074 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set RI/The Rock (paint) 2. # US-$ 59.98 / € 52,50 11075 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Southern Pacific (T&NO) 1. # US-$ 63.98 / € 56,00 11076 3-Bay Offset Hopper Set Southern Pacific (T&NO) 2. # US-$ 63.98 / € 56,00 Raul [ June 23, 2005, 07:17 PM: Message edited by: Raul ]
No No, these are the older 10 Rib MDC Cars. I just saw it on Athearns Site. http://www.athearn.com/Search/Default.aspx?OverallCatID=TN&CatID=TNRF&SortBy=CatDesc&SortDirection=ASC&Page=15 Raul
Raul: If they are offset side then there s/b no ribs right? At this time I don't think Athearn has upgraded the tooling on the rib-side car yet. At least that's the impression I got when discussing this with their dealer liason. BTW they are supposed to be getting to the Thrall Hi-Side Gon in the "near" future. Anybody in for a run of the ATSF w/o numbers and decals to # your own? I already have committments for 300+ of the HO version.
Athearn err Horizon is slowly posting pictures of them. For the Rock Island they are the black ones WIth BLue Rock Logo, Im Just assuming they are the same car as the yet non delivered First run. Either way Im Happy, More Rock stuff thats in my era. Although the accurecy is yet to be determined. Raul
I'll go for a bunch of the N Scale thrall gons, in DRGW, for my collection!!! Since locating them currently is difficult at best!
Raul: Thanks. It is the three bay and not the four bay. Exactly what I am looking for! [edit] Now, if they are offset sides, I don't think they would have ribs. It would be a new body style. [ June 24, 2005, 09:55 AM: Message edited by: sapacif ]
