I have had to take some pictures. You see the Westport Terminal GE 44-ton "Henry" on the way to downtown. The switch is still lined for the main. Switcher has delivered a car at the freight house.
Westport Terminal RR has bought another NW 2 - switcher. This engine was BN green. But now it got a new paint shop. The switcher got the new FREMO BELT LINES paint scheme. FBL short for "Free Merchandise Organisation Belt Lines". Here comes an RDC from Plywood District around the Lake Curve. In a few minutes it will arrive at Third Street: The RDC has stopped at Third Street and returns: Happy toooot Wolfgang
Thank you for the nice words. After my childhood railroad I had photography as hobby. Something remained. It's fun taking pictures. My Third Street Industrial District is one part of my layout I've finished - if ever. Those article and picture by Bill Baumann in Model Railroader Nov. 85 fascinated me. So I changed the plan to my wishes and imaginations. BTW, there's a new website with clinic about photography from Bob Boudreau: http://arailfan.googlepages.com/ very informative. I can only underline his statements. @ verse I used Roco code 83 track. But for the new Westport yard I have already two boxes of Peco track in the corner. @ Russ I will wait. Joseph, before taking the pictures I had to dust! I used a wet sponge and a cloth. There was a layer! And here're more pictures. Looking at Commerce Street. View at Third Street - Allouez Avenue with Dairy. Looking along Commerce Street at crossing Third Street. Happy toooot Wolfgang
