Anybody else going to Galesburg Railroad Days? June 24-25 @ Carl Sandburg College. We'll be there and would love to meet some T'board members. Also hiring help for setup/beakdown.

My family and I will be at Galesburg this year for the first time on Saturday, (arriving Friday night)
I will be at the Galesburg show. It will be my first; my sister moved to Peoria last fall, so it is a perfect excuse. George, I will contact you offline about possibly helping setup and/or tear down.
Just a note of encouragement to those who are thinking about going. Galesburg is something close to a magical place for anyone who loves railroads or wants to model them. The town grew up around the intersection of what used to be two different roads -- the CB&Q and AT&SF. Downtown Galesburg was, I think, built by Design Preservation Models. I lived in Galesburg for 8 happy years, long ago - 1970s - my daughter was born in a house (since demolished) that was about 50' from the Burlington main line. Be sure to visit the beautiful campus of Knox College and take a look at the historic buildings, especially Old Main. You will feel as if you stepped a century into the past.
Bryan is right, besides the great train show, the town is awash in railfan options. I plan on being there, our shop is in Peoria and is placing a booth there. Hope to meet some of you guys. I have been fortunate to meet some of you already that have popped in the store when traveling.
I will be there. I have attended the train show every year since I moved to Galesburg in 1997. I think it would be nice to see some faces of trainboard at the show.
