Funny with UP's car shortage they are turning loose cars. Maybe the lease ran out. There have been several batches of grain hoppers turned loose and WE is a new one to me. Most have been to NOKL and a short line in Minnesota. Don't remember the reporting marks right off hand. On the other hand, UP has pulled a bunch of old 1964 built PS-2 two bay cement hoppers out of storage and is using them in Nevada. Greg
It's become almost impossible trying to keep up with all these private owner restencils. However, it's nice to still see the old Ball & bar circulating. Boxcab E50
Spotted a few CNW 100-ton coal hoppers in a westbound empty coalie rolling out of cheyenne the other day- didn't take pics (finally got a new digital)......but it was good to see 'em still in original paint & lettering, even if a bit grimy.
