A couple of shots of outbound Eurostars near Wandsworth Road station in South London, at the moment these trains have to wind their way out through the suburbs before they get to the high speed line. The new section of high speed line is due to open next year, and Eurostars will no longer travel on this route.
A South Eastern Trains 465 unit outbound from London Victoria overtakes a Eurostar which is crawling off the curve linking to London Waterloo.
The excavator on the hill puts some date perspective on the photo; those haven't been around all that long and you can tell it is of modern style. Birken
