Quick question Would the articulated racks that Atlas makes ever show up in the same train as the racks MT makes, prototypically? Thanks

Not exactly a quick response, but... I've seen a few articulated racks, usually in a train of standard closed autoracks. Athearn's Auto-Max articulateds could also appear in the same train. Open racks are obsolete, so you won't see those in the same train as the modern kinds.
And here auto racks at car import Pon, the Netherlands. These tracks are the remnant of the old international connection Amsterdam-Germany, nowadays it is not more than an industrial spur that ends at this spot. The rest of the line can be followed by walking down the former right of way.
