At about 11:03 today the Pacific NW had a moderate qauke. From what I have heard BNSF might have a broken Rail and all trains have been stoped for track inspections. I will post more info later.

I saw a stack train on TV, and it wasnt moving, but at least the stcks were up! I remember an Amtrak derail down here caused by an earthquake.

Thanks for the info. I heard about the 'quake on the news here, but did not know if it had affected the trains.

Turns out no trains derailed in the quake, but all of them were stoped for sevral hours for track inspections. BNSF did lose 6 miles of track in the Nisqaulie river delta but luckily they had a track crew in the area and all of it was fixed by yesterday. All RR are back to normal in the pacific NW now!
