NOTE: Some browsers may require you to do a "refresh" to hear the sound recording properly.

You should see a photo of BNSF locomotive #4317 and hear the actual recording of its crossing bell, horn and rumbling engine.

    Hi ThrottleJock,
I jst finished a CSX MoW Screen Saver and would you believe the AMTRAK screen saver is now in the works? Yes, AMTRAK is the next one on the list of to do screen savers and will feature a lot of the loco's that run through Florida and also of the AMTRAK Auto Train in Sanford will also be included in the next one.

So watch for it to be on-line soon and I'll also post a message here when it's done. [IMG]

    Hi Maxwell,
I use the photo's myself as Windows backgrounds and have a program (can't recall the name of it at the moment) that changes the screen background either every hour, every day or just once (first day) a month. It also allows me to select random train sounds too. It's a pretty cool program and I think it's freeware. Will have to check on that one. Hopefully you'll get your own computer soon and can enjoy these pix a lot more than you do now. [IMG]

I also take live video of the loco's so I can record the sounds they actually make onto the computer. I'm hoping to upgrade my site so that a person can click on a particular loco's photo and hear the sound it really makes.

But got all this other stuff in the works too.

Matter of fact I am also in the making of producing a Railroad CD that I will probably make for sale from my site once I get it completed. I've got a lot of photographs that aren't even on line yet and many more that will be forthcoming as long as I railfan around the area.

Just for those interested, the CD will contain not only photo's of trains, but train sounds and every installation file for every train screen saver I ever made. And the cost for this CD will only be a mere $10.00 plus the cost of shipping/handling.

I don't know where anyone will get more than 12+(probably a dozen or more) live train screen savers, train sounds taken from the real things and hundreds of train photo's for such a price. All photo's and sounds will be from my own personal collections/recordings.

I'll also make an announcement when the CD is available for those that may be interested in acquiring one or more.

More details will be forthcoming on the Train CD once I've got everything worked out.

So for now, enjoy my train website and all the neat stuff I post in here from time to time.

    All Trains Are Cool!

If you can find a program (it's a free graphics program) called IVIEW305.EXE (actual name is IrfanView version 3.05), make sure it is IrfanView and not IVIEW, these are two different programs and IVIEW is not free and does not allow you to do a lot of what IrfanView does. IVIEW305.EXE is only about 400-600k in size (very small) so it fits on a 3.5" 1.44 floppy easy enough.

Also download some of my train photo's and save them to a 3.5" 1.44 floppy disk, should be able to get from 15-25 photo's on one disk. Copy them from the floppy to your computer and use IRFANVIEW to set them as your wallpaper in your own system.

If you can't find the software, let me know and I can e-mail you a copy and a zip file of some of the train photo's if you'd like.

You should be able to click on my name or whatever to send me an e-mail if you need to ask me any questions or want to discuss this more on a one to one basis.

    Best Regards,

AMTRAK in Florida - new screen saver now available for downloading from my screen savers page.

To learn more about this screen saver please visit my Train Screen Savers page at: http://www.trainweb.org/fcen-rr/Live_Train_Screen_Savers.html

Enjoy the new screen saver. This one should be quite unique and very interesting to those with "fast" computers.
