Hey Darren, I've got a quick question, that Challenger you've got, is that a AHM Rivarossi or the Model Expo era Rivarossi? Just wondering, and all. Being I have a few tricks up my sleaves for the older AHM Rivarossi Challenger's and even the Big Boys!
Right, the D&H never had PB's. I still got them for my collection and will likely run them since I'm not a purist.
I am finishing a Bowser Challenger and am trying to find out if the D&H ever had a second series FEF type using a standard long haul tender? The FEF 2 would have had dual stacks headlight on pilot, etc.
Good question, not sure; but... The D&H Class J (Challenger) Engines was series 1500-1539. On my DHVM website there is an extensive section with 32 photographs of these images. {See the link below} D&H Steam Reference Books:
Thanks Darren, Great site. You've got the Challengers covered. Unfortunately, D&H's were all built like UP's first series.
Look what I got this weekend... Life-Like#31273 Life-Like#31274 [ June 20, 2005, 08:48 PM: Message edited by: Stourbridge Lion ]
