Greetings, A buddy of mine and I are planning on spending a day watching the action along the Seligman Sub. We'll be driving up from Phoenix to start out in the Flagstaff area but would appreciate some input as to other good locations for photos. Mike C Phoenix Az
I don't live in the area, so I can't speak with much authority, but I did notice a good amount of freight traffic speeding through Williams. That is also where the Grand Canyon Railroad is located. I have visited there a few years ago.
Mike, I live in Phx and run up the hill a couple times every year. Just east of Flag is Cosnino crossing, good pictures. Work your way west from Flag after that, Bellmont alone has 3 or 4 good spots. Look for the caboose at the Harley Davidson dealership. Williams Jct is good if you can find it. Williams is also nice for the GCRR shots you can get. Good luck, have fun, (and stay legal)...
