Heres the latest two clips from the Sweethome studios, the first ones with a proper camera. It's not quite Peter Jackson, but at least I look like him. First up, the soundchipped Bachmann 0-6-0 doing the layout hop Bachmann 0-6-0 Jon [ February 17, 2006, 12:53 PM: Message edited by: Jon Grant ]
Here's the second, an Atlas Trainmaster with a Soundtraxx decoder installed over the weekend Trainmaster Jon [ February 17, 2006, 12:54 PM: Message edited by: Jon Grant ]
Last one for tonight, a BRC railfan run-by brc run-by Enjoy Jon [ February 17, 2006, 12:52 PM: Message edited by: Jon Grant ]
Jon... I watched the clip of the steam moving the Pennsy boxcar around. I really like the scenery and the proportions of how everything looks. You have a good eye for grouping the buildings. Also... I'd like to give a shameful plug for the C&O and that sharp looking hopper sitting on the side.
Thanks guys. I'm busy editing something together at the moment. I'll post it ASAP. Martyn, it's at Tolworth in November (South London) Jon
Here's the first of 2 new movie clips. It may take a while to download but it shows my cassette storage are behind the layout with an IHB train running on to the scenic area. IHB SW7s Jon [ February 17, 2006, 12:55 PM: Message edited by: Jon Grant ]
Amazing! Jon, what video equipment do you use, and what do you use to edit them? I would really like to get into digital video. My wife bought an entry-level camera to play with, but have not done any editing yet.
Jon, Fantastic! Your latest effort with the multiple camera angles is amazing! You're fast approaching Allen Keller status my friend! Any chance we may see a Sweethome DVD in the future? Put me down for a copy, lad! 2slim
Alan, I borrowed a Sony 'Digital 8' camera, Nothing too flash or difficult about it, has digital focus etc, but records onto tape rather than disc. The editing suite is Windows Movie Maker and is easy to use. It was either a free download or came with the computer. Jon
