Since Rail Images is back up and running I thought I'd share with you my favorite modelling pics from my layout. Lets see how many pictures of various modelling and scales we can show here. If you dont have any photos why not browse through Rail Images and select a favorite modeeling picture and post it here? Here are 2 of my favorite from my album Ok guys lets get this thread going
Sure! This is one of my favorite. A BALOU LINE consist meets a NON_SPECFIC as the sun dawns over the horizon. The water truck fills it's tank as a string of GP38-2s drags the stock cars by. Ironically theses are the same cars these oblivious cows will ride in.
This one seems to get alot of attention, though I think it is a bit too dark. This pic kinda grabs me for some reason. Both were taken from my N scale layout. If I went though everyone's albums I could fill page after page of great photo's! Great topic!
A few favourite pics from the now defunct old AWRR layout CLLX lease unit fresh out of the paint shop Busy yard scene under the bridge Mi Jack loader at work in the intermodal yard
Some pics from my N scale railroad SR&WF Iron Hill Mine, overview Ore filling station All engines at West End hump yard Greenville industry area Cold Spring station
This is my current favorite modeling pic. My almost finished TTRAK module. All it needs is some fencing ,some traffic signs (speed, passing, curve, anybody got a source?) I wish I could take credit for that sky [ 21. September 2003, 20:38: Message edited by: Catt ]
I like it Catt, I could use the idea of two modules coupled together for my next Christmass tree layout. On the right side a small station, on the left a sort of tunnel behind the tree. Two Kato RDC's pendling, one passenger unit and the other a mail unit arriving and leaving the smalltown station in a given frequence. I like it. Paul
When I was visiting the Conway Scenic Railroad recently, I happened upon a model railroad museum. Here are a couple of shots I believe turned out rather well.
I have heard of good weathering jobs, but this is my favorite and my favorite photo: Model by By Dan Kamikubo, Los Angeles, CA Belmont Shore Club To copy a picture from Railimages right click on the pic then copy url from properties [ 23. September 2003, 03:56: Message edited by: Colonel ]
