I have done some scenery to resemble the southern Cali area. How does it look? [ 11. June 2004, 19:53: Message edited by: PARKERLEGEND ]
Looks very good. For parts of SoCal. But how about those thin, skinny trunked eucalypyus trees? They would certainly represent SoCal in some parts. Al, your work looks great and represents a lot of the SoCal area. The reason I have asked this is I have never figured a way to make them.
Al, you do very nice work...I for one appreciate your posting photos and wish more people would do it. I am in the process of building a room in my barn for a layout so I have no photos of railroading at this time but the first chance I get this fall I will be posting photos if I can figure out how to do it.
Wow you're crusing Parkerlegend. I'm still in the ballasting/scenery stage. Some nights I'll ballast. Some nights I'll scenery. I've grown tired of ballasting. I can't wait until I finish. If I could do it all over again, I would have chosen fine ballast for the whole layout instead of medium ballast for the mainline. I find that fine ballast is easier to put in.
Here are two pics I took a day ago http://www.railimages.com/gallery/alfredmayo [ 27. July 2004, 03:29: Message edited by: PARKERLEGEND ]
