Hello all, need some input into deciding what I should use for my reporting marks, the name of my railroad is The Georgia System Rwy. I thought maybe GSRX, what do you think? Is this being used? Thanks for any opinions. Robert
An X designates a car owner that does not operate a railway, and GSRX does belong to a company called Golden Spike Railroad Services. According to this list, GS, GSR, and GSRY are all available. Mike
Thanks for the info Mike. Didn't know that about the X. Robert [ 01. July 2003, 23:09: Message edited by: Robert Peak ]
COuld be Georgia System Railroad Transportation Company! GSRT for short. Jeff Augsburg & Concord R.R. (a fictional shortline in Central Illinois) http://www.pegnsean.net/~revnjeff
Jeff,Transportation is exactly what it stands for and is the reason CSX uses CSXT for their marks (X means private owner). When I have my new freightcar decals made up for the Grande Valley I am changing them from GVRR to GVRT. [ 02. July 2003, 02:42: Message edited by: Catt ]
