That might jsut work....except I dont drink. I've tried the threat of buying another motorcycle, or going motor racing again (came third in the state championship the last year I raced), but that doesnt phase her either. She's a tough one....
Wow, I guess I need to be extra, extra nice to my wife. She not only tolerates my addiction, she actually encourages it. Every time she comes with me to the LHS she tries to push off new rolling stock and even engines. She does not take the ‘can’t afford it’ line. I have to point out that the piece she is looking at either does not fit into the era I am modeling or that it is a piece of junk, even if I really want it but cannot afford it. Thankfully, she has not gotten to the point that she can recognize it when I make the purchase a few months later. I suppose it could be part of a ploy to keep me out of the bars, from getting around to finishing rebuilding my motorcycle, etc. Either way, I guess I’m lucky.
I'm in the same boat, Jason - an encouraging SO. Lucky? Yep! And, Dis, I don't have to worry about the motorcycles either - she rides her own SV650S! It's a grand world!
