Yes it's Monday, what did we get done in the world of modeling?

I managed to work on some cars, tune ups. I did take a close look at the old Pemco cars I found last weekend. They are from the early 80's, they were an upshoot company from Hong Kong. The cars are prototypically correct. The printing is crisp but I found flaws in their data. One car a NYC/MDT white mech. reefer has a builders date of 1917 and an inside length of 33', a D&RGW one has a length of 50', they will need redone. They will add some flavor to the freight fleet though.

Trains were run! I changed out some engine consists, ran trains, changed out some freight car consists, ran trains, they are happy now!!- :D

Hope everyone had a great weekend!- [IMG]

I had a very busy and hectic weekend which meant I did not have much time for the forum. My daughter had a game to be a cheerleader at on Saturday. Then we had grocery shopping to do. On Sunday the my son’s football team, the Drexel Hill Raiders Pee Wee AA had their winning streak abruptly ended by the Marple Tigers 26-7. Then we had more shopping, which did include a trip to the Mitchell’s Hobbies. Since we had to go to Delaware for other reasons yesterday we decided to stop at Mitchell’s because beside trains they also sell scouting items and my son needed to get his supplies for Tiger Scouts.

Somehow I did get some modeling done. I finished painting wheels for the MOW cars. I also added a few more detail parts to the Water Tower Diorama and the Pink Boutique. I also continued painting more detail parts.

Like Tom, also busy here. Friday night FB game at my old HS, #12 B-U Bucs whipped the Philippi Colts 59-14. :D
I did unsuccessfully modify a life-like coal hopper from wheel mounted couplers to body mounted.
Club meet thursday night after class, so I packed up by five best boxcars to take with me.

I've been very busy too. Unfortunately its not OT modeling, its working around the house. Saturday my body gave out and I had to rest. But I did get some time in to post many pictures to www.Railery.railimages.com I invite everyone to have a browse through. On Sunday I continued working on the house. This week the installation of the out door hot tub in the deck should be done, a new installed basement window in front. Once those are done I can return to finishing off the one side of the basement that I've been working on. Only got half the ceiling , floor and trim to finish. Once that is done I get to start on the new train room. [IMG] :D
