[IMG] :mad [IMG]ooooooo buddy wait a minute.i don't want the a&a it's too small and we never approached the a&a for merger or takeover. also we are in hand in hand with the fra. especially since Mr. Lessman was formerly employed by the fra. the a&a is in no way able to break up the conglomeration the the Makinbaconline has established. we will however be announcing another large and hostile takeover in the near future and NO IT DOES NOT INCLUDE the A&A in NO way. mr. pinkley and i will be in closed door meetings with our associates and vp's and then decide if and when we will be announcing this deal and takeover. and again we hope that this will further move us in the direction of supreme rail rule.
    **********Makinbaconline RR. Creed***********
to be the most untrustable and disrespectful rail line that stupid people ever gave business to, since all we want is money we do not accept any credit.
thank you and have a christmas and give us your money in the new year.

Maxwell Plant, in the slammer? I think not! Is the BNSF/AOW to become part of the Makinbacon Empire, NO! The new President Elect of The United States, George W. Bush, has promised that the AOW, being a major business in the State of Texas, will stay in the hands of BNSF, which also will remain on it's own. Will trackage rights and terminal usage agreements come into play? Yes, this will happen, but the BLW/UTU will not allow Makinbaconline non-union crews to operate trains on the BNSF/AOW. All Makinbacon Trains will have BNSF/AOW crews at the throttle of their trains on BNSF/AOW trackage. Maxwell Plant is STILL, and will remain until death, the CEO of the Aransas Odessa & Western Railway. Richard Trickel, from NASCAR fame, has been appointed Vice-President of MBL run-thru Operations. Ed Pinkley will retain his appointed offices but the following people will be released: Leesman, Whacker, Chuck and Balsack. Robert Krebs also has given his full support to the AOW as a full partner in the BNSF family. Other news from Corpus Christi: A new TOFC/COFC terminal is in the works for the Port of Corpus Christi at Gregory, this will mean more traffic for the AOW. The new facility is being built by the KCS, TEX-MEX and BNSF/AOW railways. It looks like KCS run-thru's will use AOW to gain access to San Antonio via Gridley. Rest assured AOW share holders, the raid is over! Long live the BNSF/AOW!

Didn't yoa'll hear ex-President Gore say that if the MBL did merge with the AOW, he would re-count the votes again and prove they were both declared AWOL!

sorry mopac, I was the first to mention the FRA so they[re on my side besides, The A&A is bigger than any old makinbacoinline-and- what-ever-else-crap-railroad company is.

    (just a little fun :D :D :D :D)

    BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!
The A&A has bought out CP Rail and Texas Mexican Railway. lookes like the A&A is up to 132,547 miles with 20,823 engines and and 962,003 freight cars. It is also looking to Buy out Norfolk Southern whil CSX buys the BNSF MARC and AMTRAK.

    wt&c,
As much as the AOW thanks you for your support these last few days, there is no way on Earth the CSX will ever buy the BNSF and it's holdings, let alone MARC and Amtrak. You can't buy anything FROM the Government anyway. They will tax you so hard, you'll think you're paying them to keep it, which in fact, YOU ARE! [IMG]

    Ok, my question is this:
Where will IWRS (Interwest Railway System) fit into this??
As we already have SP, KCS, and Conrail in our fold (and FIRMLY [IMG] I might add), and are currently in the final process of merging with Canadian Pacific Railway, IWRS takes a long view of this possible merger.
InterWest Railway System will be open to the possiblity of recipricol trackage rights, as well as shared switching duties.
The only possible hang up is that we are a GE road exclusively, and shared switchers must have compatible software.

Big news on the take over......

tha bnsf has just recieved delivery of its long awaited dash 9 locomotives.this means that even more traffic can be handled.when the entire order is in we expwct at least 5-6 more trains a day.with this in mind the bnsf is once again looking to merge with either the makinbacon line ar the aow.

A trackage rights agreemant will not be accepted. The new bnsf will be getting in contact with both prospects and have closed door meetings with them. And with the whereabouts of Maxwell Plant the AOW doesn't look like it is in too good of shape.

This is the challenge put out to the fellow trainbboard freelance members.
1.Create a story of where Max is.
2.Give me reasons on who a merger would be best with.
3.who ever has the best story will be who gets the merger with the bnsf.
4.this goes out to everyone, including the aow and makinbacon line.

And as always remember we are just having fun here,so have fun with your stories.

    Thanks Again

Seeing the AOW is already part of the BNSF, what is the point of trying to merge? They already are Ed! [IMG] Mr. Plant is fine. He's at the AOW Headquarters in Corpus Christi, making sure the MBL stays in it's place, OUT EAST! He's also been seen on Mustang Island Body Surfing with the Swedish Bikini Team and having Fresh Gulf Shrimp on the Barbee! [IMG] Of course, your boss, Mr. Krebs has also been seen with Mr. Plant at the BNSF Fort Worth Offices discussing how to convince MBL to allow this merger-without-a-merger, i.e. TRACKAGE RIGHTS! The BNSF-AOW will have trackage aggreements with the MBL, it's just a matter of when. The Big Overnight Meeting of the Minds is just one week away. Let's see what happens after the meeting...Maybe we'll all get togther and have a big takeover of the UNION PACIFIC! [IMG]

    --------------BREAKING NEWS----------------
The Wisconsin Central, and Canadian National Railways have just reached an agreement, and are planning to merge sometime this weekend.
Along with this plan, they hope to merge with BCRail, and BCC(British Columbia Central), two of British Columbia's largest railroads. With this merger, the new British Columbia and Great Lakes Railroad would be able to strongly compete with the new BNSF/AOW. BCGL would have trackage extending from Chicago to Milwaukee, then to St. Paul, and up into Canada, where tracks would split in two directions: One to Montreal, and the major line, to Vancouver. In Vancouver, numerous tracks would split out and cover the entire Province of British Columbia. As you can see, BCGL would have a lot of territory with connections to the Great Lakes and Pacific Ocean. Questions still remain though...BCGL hopes to connect with St. Louis in the near future, whcih may cause some trouble with BNSF/AOW!

And FEAR sets in as the rest of the Railway world tries to figure out how to survive the Three Headed Monster, BNSF-AOW-MBL Railways. Go ahead and merge together guys, just makes it easier for the BNSF-AOW-MBL to take you over! [IMG] LOOK OUT UP! WE'RE GOING TO GET YOU TOO! [IMG]

With the "GREAT BIG OVERNIGHT MEETING" only a few days away, what could the railway map look like next Monday (01-15-01) morning? Is YOUR Railway safe from hostile take over? Will the BNSF-AOW merge with the MBL? Will the Great proposed "Eastern Conglomerate" invade BNSF-AOW territory in and around St. Louis? Do they realise BNSF-AOW and MBL has invited a group of "Big-Wigs" from St. Louis to attend the GBOM? Is the rest of the Railway world shaking in it's shoes as the Rail Barrons of the 21st Century decide how to cut up the pie? Stay tuned...same Bat-Time, same Bat-Channel! [IMG]

Hey Pac-man! The NARA lines look ripe for picking! At least FOUR Railraods in their stable. I think NARA Loco's would look good in Pig-Pink and Flames, but you CAN'T PAINT ANY BNSF-AOW POWER! NO WAY! NO HOW!

Due to the Makinbacon Lines poor handling of trains, (see Inspection Pit-NTBN FUNRUN Train Wreck Photo's) The merger of the BNSF/AOW and MBL Railways has been called off! Maxwell Plant has been absolved of all wrong doing and is not wanted by the Authorities in any Juristdiction. The above picture was taken after a long day of body surfing with the Swedish Bikini Team at Port Aransas, Texas. (Gridley, TX. can be seen in the right-hand back ground of photo.) He is currently enjoying the week before his Birthday, plotting "Pac-Man's" demise! LONG LIVE THE ARANSAS ODESSA & WESTERN, THE BNSF's "TEXAS JEWEL"! Could an joining with NARA be NEXT? COULD BE!
