Yes it's Monday again, what did we get done in our modeling world?

You know the old saying, 'don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today', well I did just that and my plans all went to pot. I pushed things back Friday night, even when I had time and not just modeling plans and boom things changed.
So I got NODDA done! [IMG]

Didn't even turn a wheel on the layout! [IMG]

Hope everyone had a better weekend! [IMG]

I guess I can add this it's still Monday, made the trains happy just came up from running them, did some motive power change outs on the trains. [IMG]

Went to a train show, bought couplers for my locomotive, a bridge, some retaining walls, one tunnel portal (box said there were two... caveat emptor *sigh*) and a power pack.

That power pack meant that I got to put my loco on my single piece of track and see it move. It's not much but it's progress!

Had a very busy weekend which kept my available modeling time to a bare minimum. On Saturday my daughter cheered as a cheerleader for her first game. The cheerleaders lead the crowd as the Raiders tied the game with 20.1 seconds to go. My son played his first football game on Sunday. His team, the Drexel Hill Raiders Pee Wee AA, defeated Ridley Park Parkers 27-6. He played all but 4 plays of the second half as he played defensive and offensive tackle. He is also on the kicking and receiving team. In between all this we had to do grocery shopping.

As a result of my busy weekend I got nothing accomplished in the model railroad world.

Sanded (relatively) flat and painted the asphalt road and parking lot for my first factory on the layout.

Raining all weekend :( So no outside work really done. Well it did let up a bit during the day time so got to tear down tent screen around barbq. Managed to fix the top cover for the out door spa. Took a break from the basement renos. Today peeled the brick off the wall around the kitchen sink window. On thursday and friday our new windows will be going in. Tomorrow back to work on basement ceiling. Nothing doing with the the layout.

Was kept busy all weekend (and beyond) fitting our new kitchen units, so no modelling time :( But the final pieces of trackage arrived yesterday, so hopefully I can get in some tracklaying time soon [IMG]
