installing decoder

    I have a Proto 2000 E-6 diesel that is "DCC ready". Supposedly, all I need do is to obtain a decoder and plug it in. I have examined the locomotive and cannot find a socket in which I might plug a decoder. What am I missing?

    Does your E6 unit have the same light board as displayed in the pictures?
