Please, please,please can someone,anyone please help me wiith a builders plate ID. It is a Baldwin-Westinghouse plate for serial or order number 74402 built June 1949 Philadelphia. I would like to know the railroad and the loco type.

Kalmbach's "Diesels From Eddystone" confirms the above information. There was a set of nine of these, road numbers 525-533, according to the book.
Don't know if Charlie is still looking for confirmation after a year, but Worley's Iron Horses of the Santa Fe Trail concurs. The unit was renumbered 633 in 1951 to make room in the 500 series for more opposed-piston oddities from Wisconsin in the yard goat fleet.
