So there is a thread that @Sumner started here about asking others to print 3D items for us for a fee, and of course shipping too. As far as I know just from https://www.thingiverse.com . Alright so let's get this started, as I would like to get these items to start. I guess anyone with a 3D printer can respond to us in a DM, direct message. Is that how it will work? Guess we will find out how this works? I would like: Dumpster x 10 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5361283 Pallet x 10 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5711844 House with Carport x 1 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3210150 I will say a friend of mine in another state was 3D printing some items for me and this house I already have, but the windows and doors did not come out well. I guess someone could print those first and see if it's possible in N Scale for them to work. I already have one of these houses but Want a Complete 3D printed one? Possible I will add a few more items so I can pay, and ship all at the same time. Will pay via PayPal only Friends & Family! Let's see if this works?
i can print a few but im well behind in chores i need to get done. got to many engines i need to rebuild .
been printing like crazy got a lot done. dang printer broke (i knocked it off the shelf with my foot ) still working on the house , windows are giving me a bit of trouble but now my other printer is down until i can print a part for that.... I need to work on a different approach to the windows. think im going to switch printers for those as my old printer seems to print better than the ender pro does. I think in future im going to mod the old printer for three spools of filament . That way i dont have to change spools so much.
Sorry about the broken printer. Also house or mansion as I call are looking good. Those windows are hard to print in N-Scale it appears. Like I said. I am in no hurry at all. Looking good Thanks so much for doing this. Let me know what my total is when you are done.
What an amazing job @sidney did for me printing some 3D items. He hasn't shipped them yet, but I can't wait to get them. He worked so hard on the house, or Mansion as I call it! As well as the other items I requested. Very, very, nice of them. And @Sumner had a great idea it appears. Look how good it all looks, a little paint for the items, and the house/mansion just looks awesome! No painting it, just the colors I wanted.
And here it is in my hands Even the balcony that goes on the back of the Mansions, as I call them. Excellent job @sidney ! He even cut them OFF the sprue or whatever you call it. And placed then in a small baggy, or is it baggie?
aw man two pillar's didnt make the trip. i was worried about them. there pretty delicate. shoot i got to print me one of them homes/mansion now (well a roof any way )
Almost sure I can glue them in place? No big deal! If not, I'll add dudes that are repairing them or something Everything looks awesome! Why just a roof, print the entire mansion for yourself They are nice!
I have the bottom parts the did not print well during my test prints . so im going to just use those but they do now have roofs. and i should print them before i use up the all black filament. i ordered two more spools of grey so now when i use up those other colors everything will be grey .
