RAMS are no longer American trucks. It was sold to an Italian company in 1998. That's why they no longer carry the Dodge name or Chrysler emblem. Besides my '98 Dakota with 180K still purrs. :)

    Fix Or Repair Daily...

    My '48 GMC street rod...

    Got Mechanic Coming...

My dad's or someone's saying... "a Plymouth can Ford a creek but a Ford can't Plymouth a creek"

My '99 Suburban has 240,000 on it now. Mainly use it now to take people around the back country here but ....

... It did haul the smaller sailboat (4000# with trailer) on 5000 mile round trips from Utah to Florida twice and also to Canada and other locations in Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. A great tow vehicle and really comfortable. I bought it used with around 140,000 on it 13 years ago for under $4000. Our trip vehicle now is either the 2013 Tahoe or Dottie's 2012 Nissan Altima (the Tahoe is a lot more comfortable).

Nah, just waitin' for the others to catch up... It's boring out front all the time! ;)

... Italian Dodges?! So now they're like Fiats: "Fix It Again, Tony!"

My dad loved Dodges and Plymouths in the 50's and '60's, until a '77 Aspen and an '80's K-car cured him of that. The late '70's and '80's were not kind to US carmakers.

Funny how the most popular pickup brand has the most jokes against it.

We all have our favorites, and all that competition makes them all better. No competition, no product improvement. Thank goodness we have a government that does not narrow that choice to one brand for all of us; or we'd all lose.

Well, not a train or track, but they started putting the windows in on our back porch where my train layout is. Should be done in a couple more days!

It was my wife's idea to build the layout out there.

Moose bought a proper light for the Quattro (paint booth) ... Now, Moose can see!

This is an awesome light. Can adjust through five different temperatures and four intensity levels up to 1200 lumens: "cozy Warm White (2700K), Soft White (3000K), Neutral White (3500K), Bright White (4000K) or invigorating Daylight (5000K)."

Oh, and Moose also picked up a cheapy airbrush holder...

Got my preordered Micro Trains DOSX flatcar, with mystery balloon.
Based on the Chinese spy balloon that was shot down off the coast
of South Carolina earlier this year!

Also fits the What’s on Your Workbench thread! A rather interactive kit
to assemble. Another challenger to my abilities! Only issue I have, is mine
    arrived with a damaged coupler.

    The idea, from Trains interview:

    https://www.trains.com/mrr/news-reviews/news/the-story-behind-the-micro-trains-mystery-balloon-car/

    The parts, top to bottom:
Solar panels, flat car, 3D printed satellite, deflated balloon and laser cut wooden supports for satellite array.

Better pics later!! iPad photos in dimly lit living room!!

Also received my "Balloon Car". BOTH couplers are broke, but I have an M/T pre-ex bin good for 3 generations. This thing is just COOL !!! As Keith said, it could be a challenge to build, but that's why we do this !!!
